I'm a 16-year-old UI designer building diegetic operating systems and sci-fi terminal screens. I work under the name designedbyperson - drawing the interfaces that films, games, and tools pretend are real.

Screen from Helios OS

Helios OS

A full diegetic operating system built for a short film. Boot loader, file browser, and a mission console - all rendered as glowing terminal screens that the actors could actually type on between takes.

  1. Jan 2025

First boot screen and login flow designed.

  2. Feb 2025

Mission console + map readout built.

  3. Mar 2025

Handed off, used on set across 9 scenes.

Screen from Warden Terminal

Warden Terminal

A security-room interface for an indie game: access logs scrolling in phosphor green, camera grid, and a lockdown panel. Every screen reads like it belongs to one machine.

  1. Sep 2024

    Style frames + screen inventory.

  2. Oct 2024

Built the live log + camera grid views.

  3. Nov 2024

Shipped into the game's alpha build.

Screen from Relay Brand Kit

Relay Brand Kit

Logo, type lockups, and a small icon set for a tools startup. Drawn to sit comfortably next to monospace UI, so the brand never fights the product.

  1. Jun 2024

    Wordmark + monogram explorations.

  2. Jul 2024

Icon set and usage guide delivered.
